After watching “Remember the Titans” I thought to myself what year was this film made. I kind of knew it was around when black and whites didn’t like each other. But during the film you can see that they started to get along due to the coaches forcing them to hang out with each other. During their training camp this is when it all went down. The team got a new head coach, but kept the coach that replaced him. I thought this was interesting as the coach was going to be nominated as a hall of fame coach. Shortly after the head coach, which he was black, decide to keep him. The white coach was getting told by the board that if he wants to be a hall of fame coach they would have to lose a game so that the black head coach would get fired. After everything the coach decided to help them win as the hall of fame was important but so was his players.

The reason I picked this film was I have never seen it. It was also a football film that was more old fashion. It was interesting how much films from back then have changed to now. Some parts of the film I could tell the acting was a little too staged and it didn’t seem that good. But overall I really like how they made it the movie. Even though it was old fashion film it still have good scenes which made it better. I also liked how they incorporated the title of the movie into the movie. When I heard them say the title it gives me chills I don’t know why but it does. It almost makes the film better. As the years go on films started to add the title into the movie which I really like.

I felt like the film was more about rascies more than anything. Which I really haven’t watched many films with that as probably the main idea. I understand it a little bit but I never really got the change to really understand it in that time period. The most important piece of the film I felt was when one of the white players was in a car crash and when he was at the hospital all his friends, family and coaches were there, but the only person he wanted to see was his best black friend. This was a powerful statement in my opinion due to the fact that everyone was still edge about black. But by this act from a white male it helped spike everything up to where everyone was welcome blacks whites and whatever there was.

I wanted to watch good will hunting for a long time everyday I look up at the poster that in your room, I finally got to watch it I was a little confused in the beginning of the movie but once the movie got going it was a lot easier to understand. Even though I didn't understand the film in the beginning I still really liked the film I wish I could watch it again and not understand the film like if it was the first time i'm watching. Robin Williams and Matt Damon was the perfect fit for the film the acting was perfected no one over acted or anything, it looked like it was real. Which just made the film so much better.  Overall the film was perfect looking at it in a cinema creater I wouldn't really want to change anything.
